Macarena trick shot day

It was a physically light day with only easy on court practice about some of the different deceptive shots made in the game of badminton. Heaviest thing going on during the day was the hot “Macarena” dance warm-up, delivered by the Spanish players and executed marvelously by all.

During the day players have been recovering from the tough week while coaches and staff started preparing for the last day which brings along the final tournaments of the camp and the camp disco.

In the evening an unofficial basketball match took place in the backyard of the hotel. Serbian and Spanish players dominated this match. Most staff and coaches did not participate since they were still celebrating the official football match victory.

Here are a few words from players and coaches from “the bad-ass group” (group 7):

Summer school has been a really fun experience as we have met loads of awesome players (Dimitri) and coaches (Alex) who have made all the long hours of training enjoyable. We hope to come back next year and maybe to see everyone again.
