BWF Level 3 

The BWF Coach Education Level 3 is a Specialised Coaching Award, aimed at badminton coaches who are interested in high-level youth coaching or in elite coaching.

The Level 3 manual will be initially released in English – although it may later be made available in other language versions.

Framework

Target Group:

Level 2 coaches or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years coaching experience.

Format:

Graduate/post graduate level study of approved specialist subject (minimum 12 months).

Content:

Advanced planning and delivery for a specialised audience:

• Children
• Elite Performance
• Coach Education

Outcomes/Assessment:

Demonstrate in an in-depth knowledge of selected specialist area.

Ability to manage and integrate other coaches and experts into on-court/off court training plans.

Assessed by a panel of relevant coaching experts.
