Coach Education Courses in Europe

Badminton Europe introduced the BWF coach education in 2012. This was done through a pilot level 1 tutor course which was held in June 2012 in Antwerp, Belgium; followed by a level 1 tutor course which was held in Medvode, Slovenia. Since these courses Badminton Europe has set up a support program to help its members with the implementation of the coach education system. The number of federations that has been running courses has slowly increased.

Badminton Europe organises the following coach education courses:
  • BWF coach education level 1 Tutor's course
  • BWF coach education level 2 Tutor's course
  • BWF coach education level 2 coach course (during the BEC Summer School in even years)
  • BWF coach education level 3 coach course
