Schools Projects
Description: Badminton Europe believes that badminton is an ideal sport to be played within schools. We therefore encourage all Member Associations to actively work to have badminton included in their national school system.
For the future we would like to offer countries material that can be used to assist in the teaching of badminton during physical education lessons and in sports clubs. It is known that badminton is an established sport in many European countries but this is not a fact throughout the continent.
In an ideal scenario it would be beneficial to share these resources with countries that are unable to produce their own material. Badminton Europe is willing to assist in having good quality material translated in local languages. Material could be based with tuition books, dynamic presentation material and also through DVD applications.
Who is it for?: open to all Member Associations
Objectives:
· Schools equipment is available to all countries who wish to order it. At least 15 Member Associations purchasing schools sets each year
· Sale of at least 1000 units of school sets per year
· Collection of schools material from at least 5 countries. Assess what can be adopted in other countries. Translate materials if applicable.
· Offer suitable schools material to all developing countries. Seek adoption from at least 15 of these countries.
New Badminton Europe School Set
Badminton Europe is pleased to re-launch the popular School Set. More than 1500 units of the previous edition of the badminton equipment package were sold. We have listened to feedback from Member Associations and made changes to the composition of the School Set in this new 2010 edition.
The new version comes in two options and contains much lighter rackets!
And a special discount of 10% if ordering over 30 sets!!!
Set A features 16 full size badminton rackets
Set B features 8 full size and 8 shorter badminton rackets

Full size racket // 67 cms in length, weighing 104 grams
Shorter racket // 55 cms in length, weighing 90 grams
Both rackets have steel shafts with aluminium heads and are strung
