Former Danish National Head Coach Steen Pedersen confirmed his participation as staff coach for this year’s Summer School. This will be his second year working with players and coaches from all over Europe.
Badminton Europe is inviting Member Associations to nominate players and coaches to participate at the European Badminton Summer School 2010 in Pressbaum, Austria.
Some other staff coaches confirmed their participation this summer in Pressbaum that made last year’s Summer School in Sweden to a big success for all participants. These are Fran Dacal from Spain and An Soenens from Belgium. Also part of the staff team will be Tomasz Mendrek from Czech Republic. He also has some years of experience with previous Summer Schools.
All together, there will be 7-8 staff coaches leading this year.
The Summer School will this year be held in Pressbaum, Austria. This is the birthplace of the Summer School in 1982. Since then this very successful project has been travelling Europe and many players and coaches from all parts of the continent have been involved.
Badminton Europe hopes that the Summer School will once again be a success and more European Member Associations will choose to participate.
