Regional Project in Aire sur la Lys
The twenty-four players from France, England, Germany and The Netherlands took part in the training camp held in Aire sur la Lys, France. The Badminton Europe supported Regional Project took place in the period 13-17 August.
The boys and the girls in the age group U15 trained hard and focused. The five-day Regional Project event ended with the individual and the team tournament.
As the camp took place shortly after the London OI 2012, the young players had a great opportunity to study some of the world’s best players’ recent matches. That helped them to recognise some of the elements that need to be improved in their own game.
