Finland hosted the Nordic Camp this year following Norway hosting it in 2008. 27 players and 8 coaches from the 5 participating Nordic nations attended the camp. The camp was for U15 national players and held in Helsinki, Finland from 5 – 9 August. This camp received financial support from Badminton Europe through the Regional Project development programme.

The training sessions where planned in team work by the national coaches from the five participating countries.

Eric Piispa from the Finnish Coaches Association held two sessions about Children’s and Youth Movement Skills Programme and Anatoli Mihailov (Head Coach for sprinters, Finnish Athletics Association) held a session about basic speed development.
