Report from U15 training camp for English, Dutch and French players
Badminton Europe recently provided financial support for a practise camp for under 15 players from England, France and Netherlands. The camp was organised by Badminton England and took place at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury from 13 to 16 August.

34 singles players, all in the under 15 age group from England, Netherlands and France took part in a practise camp together over 4 days.

The camp gave an ideal opportunity for different training and matches between the three countries.

National coaches from the three participating nations led the trainings. The camp gave an opportunity for the coaches to discuss best singles practice and learning from each other.

An objective is to improve the level of singles players in Europe and to catch up and compete with Asian players in the future.

Badminton Europe encourages collaboration projects between European nations and is keen to support such activities as part of its Regional Project programme.

Badminton Europe would like to thank Badminton England, in particular Tom Causer, for taking a lead in establishing this project.
