It is a special week that all players experience at the ‘Tecnificación Academy’ the Spanish Summer School 2011. There are two badminton practices in the morning and one in the afternoon in addition to all the badminton practice there are other interesting activities for the players running.

On Tuesday afternoon, the athletes enjoyed a session of BODYCOMBAT outdoors. And the practice was interrupted by some refreshing dips in the pool.

The Wednesday met the participants of the camp with a new challenge - badminton practice in wheelchairs. The players experienced this new feeling for a different side of their sport – para badminton.

And on Thursday, as a reward for their hard work throughout the whole week, the young players enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the Aquatic Park Acuópolis.

As a motivation for players in their training they got special sparring, Paula Rodriguez and Noelia Jimenez (Spain doubles champions in senior category) visited the various players groups during the whole week. They communicated to the younger players the value of effort and determination to achieve their dreams.

Pablo Abián also held an encouraging speech to the youngest players (U13). As well as Sergio Llopis (Spanish doubles-champion) was part of the technical staff of the camp.

It was definitely a week maximum enjoyment on and off the court. But the weeks highlight was the internal tournament and the farewell party.
