From 14th to 22nd of July was held the BEC Regional Project 2018 in Yerevan, Armenia. This camp was gathering three countries: Georgia, Russia and Armenia.
The three teams arrived on July 14th and started practice on the 15th. They had three days of intense training before having a small tournament on July 19th and 20th.
The following day was used to go to the famous armenian lake, Sevan.
The training days were separating the two age groups: U13 et U15. Both groups had two sessions per day. Nazarova Lulia (Russia), Gubaidullin Dmitrii (Russia) and Yurii Kitaevich (Georgia) were coaching the U15 players while Malkhas Mjavia (Georgia), Hrachya Poghosyan (Armenia) and Hermine Harutyunyan (Armenia) were coaching the U13 players.

"We were able to connect the players from the three countries and organize training with them. The project helped to develop the level of the U13 and U15 players in these countries" says Hrachya Poghosyan, Armenia.

The summer heat was sometimes a bit difficult to deal with for the kids but the camp was overall very pleasant.

"We would like to thank Badminton Europe for the support to organize this project in our region. We appreciate the effort of the three countries and know that we will continue our cooperation to build a better future for our players. This kind of camp is a great example to show that we can develop badminton by supporting each other" says Poghosyan.
