Regional project in Mirna, Slovenia

25 players and 4 coaches from Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia attended the 7- day Badminton Europe financial supported Regional Project at Mirna in Slovenia.

Young players of the age group U17 spent seven days at the sports hall learning new technical and tactical skills. Instructor Simon Nielsen from Denmark and four national coaches (Maja Kersnik and Dusan Skerbis from Slovenia, Vlaho Čerjan from Croatia and Jan Fil from Slovakia) tried to bring the players motivation to practice professional badminton on the higher level and become top players in the near future. Maybe someone will play at Olympics in 2020. The players spent a great time together - not only at badminton, they also had some other fun activities like swimming, football and several mini fun games.
