Malta hosted COMEBA Training Camp a Regional Project by Badminton Europe

26 junior players and 9 coaches participated in the COMEBA Training Camp held in the city of Cottonera from 7-13 December 2013. The trainings were led by two well experienced coaches from Czech Republic: Lukáš Kroc and Martina Fartágová.

Players completed eighteen hours of training, which were mainly focusing on the speed, footwork, reaction and of course to improve the technical and tactical skills. In addition, participants also took part on athletic training and theoretical lessons of badminton during the camp.

All players worked very hard throughout the whole week to improve their game level and the trainers took new insights for their further work, with junior players. The atmosphere during the trainings was very friendly. The camp was a great success, and a very good opportunity for the young players to get international experiences and make some great friends.
