Regional Project in Slovenia finished successfully

More than 60 players from 4 countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia) attended the 10-day Badminton Europe supported regional project at Mirna in Slovenia.

Some experienced coaches taught players badminton techniques and tactics as the main objective, some basic physical preparation, and sparing matches were also part of the camp.

Matevz Bajuk (2 times winner of the BE junior circuit in singles) participated in the camp as a coach assistant and a sparring partner for younger players.

They were really excited to have Matevz at the camp.

All participants went to the Smarjeske Toplice spa. They enjoyed swimming and sunbathing the whole day. They had some theoretical badminton lectures in the evenings and a tournament in the last two days. The players were divided in 5 quality groups (boys and girls together).
