Regional Project on Iceland

The Nordic Camp in Badminton for U15 was held in Iceland from 11 to 15 August 2010. The Camp was in Akranes, a small town (6500 inhabitants), 30 minutes drive from the capital city Reykjavik. 27 players from Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland participated in the camp and one trainer from each country. Michael Reed, of Denmark, came as instructor.
Trainings were 2 hours in the morning and in the evening. In the middle of the day there were all kinds of social activities (sightseeing, swimming, shopping, museums, nordisk aften (games), bingo and more). Everybody had a very good time, great badminton training and made new friends from other countries.
